Florence Miller

Florence “Flo” Miller, 78, of Naperville, IL and formerly of Kenosha, WI passed away on June 1, 2023. Born on October 11, 1944 to Rose Bryant. She was educated in Kenosha and received an associate degree from Gateway Technical College. On July 16, 1988 she was united in marriage to Ronald Miller. They were married 27 years before his passing.

Flo worked as Quality Control Technician for Ocean Spray Juice for many years until her retirement. She loved cooking and spending time with family especially hosting holidays in her home for many years till she relocated to StoryPoint Independent Living in Naperville, IL. She enjoyed running the “Country Store” inside the facility and made many cherished friendships.  Flo participated in many activities that included shopping trips, bingo, arts & crafts and fashion or costume events.  She knitted blankets which she donated to many. Visiting her grandchildren and great grandchildren filled her with so much joy and love.

Flo is survived by her children, Christopher (Jennifer) Hees, Kristine Hees, and Tammy Miller; her 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Miller; daughter, Tina DeMoe; son, Ronald Hees Jr.; sister, Patricia Langenbach; brothers, George and Richard Bryant.

The family extends their sincere appreciation to the Residential Hospice team and staff at StoryPoint who cared so much and looked after her during her battle with cancer.

A Memorial Mass for Flo will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St Raphael Catholic Church, 1215 Modaff Rd, Naperville, IL 60540.  Interment private.
