Gerald L. Pritts

Gerald “Jake” Lawrence Pritts, 90, of Montgomery, IL passed away July 23, 2021. He was born March 22, 1931, the son of Edna and Lawrence Pritts.

Gerald graduated High School in Nineteen Hundred and Fifty. He later worked for Western Electric as a supervisor for many years. He was a devoted Chicago White Sox fan and was seen as a local around the Mill and Poor Boy’s in Montgomery, where he made and maintained several friends. Gerald enjoyed collecting model cars, trains, coins, and restoring his 1948 Mercury.

Gerald was a loving father to his daughter, Vicki Pritts; loving grandfather to his granddaughter, Brittany (Sergio) Ramirez; and great-grandfather to his grandchildren, Gabriel and Sergio Ramirez.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edna and Lawrence Pritts.

All services will be private. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Dieterle Memorial Home.
