Gerald "Jerry" Virgo

Gerald Virgo, 84, of Montgomery, passed away at Seasons Hospice in Naperville on Sunday December 2, 2018.  He was born August 5, 1934 in Chicago, IL, son of Burton and Irene (Davis) Virgo. Jerry was a graduate of Lane Tech High School in 1952.  He proudly served in the United States Army between the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Jerry was employed as a tool and die maker at Ecko Products for over 33 years.  He enjoyed Fishing, Cooking, The Cubs, and was a season ticket holder for the Blackhawks and Bears games.  Jerry is survived by his wife of 34 years, Judy, 2 sons, Louis and John, 2 daughters, Cathy and Debbie (Mike) Brown. 4 grandchildren, Megan, Logan, Madison and Isabella. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives.  He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Russell and 1 sister Betty (the late Lee) Hoff.  Family will be receiving guests Thursday December 6, 2018 from 3:00pm to 8:00pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery. Funeral Mass Friday December 7, 2018 at 11:00 am, at St. Anne Catholic Church 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego.  Donations to the American Heart Association at donatenow.heart.org appreciated.
