Gerald "Jerry" E. Krantz

Gerald “Jerry” Krantz, 61, of Oswego, IL passed away on November 2, 2018. He was born on May 24, 1957 in Aurora, IL the son of Arthur and Phyllis Krantz.

Jerry retired from AT&T in 2006 after 26 years of dedicated service.  He was currently employed with Oswego School District 308. He had a passion for music, loved to travel and enjoyed tinkering on the computer.

He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Elba (De Jesus); son, Matt Krantz; siblings, Sue Forbes, Tom (Diana) Krantz, Jeanne Krantz, Roger (Dar) Krantz, Joe (Carol) Krantz and Mark (Tina) Krantz as well as many in laws, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Dave and Art Krantz.

Family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, IL.
