Gilberto "Magoo" Gonzales Jr.

Gilberto “Magoo” Gonzales Jr., passed away Sunday May 8, 2022 at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 10, 1967 in Aurora, son of Gilberto Sr. and the late Celia Gonzales. His past employer was Walter E. Smithe.. Gilberto had a great love for his family, he also loved to dance and turn the music up to 11!  He also enjoyed racing and detailing cars, he loved to BBQ, he loved fishing but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.  He is survived by his father, a son Gilberto Noe Gonzales and daughter Jessica. 3 brothers; Pedro (Jennifer) Martinez Jr., Jose (Lisa) Martinez, Raul Lee (Amy) Gonzales, 5 sisters; Lucelia (Mario) Gonzalez, Guadalupe (Joe) Quintanilla, Gloria (Robert) Soto, Graciela (Paul) Lee and Christina Hernandez. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Gilberto Jr.  is preceded in death by his mother, and sister Maria (Arturo) Barbosa. Visitation Wednesday May 18, 2022 from 10am until time of service at 12pm at Potter’s House Apostolic Church, 175 N. State Street, Aurora. Burial will take place at Mt.
