Gloria Herrera

Gloria Herrera, 71, of Aurora passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 21, 2018. She was born in Mission, Texas on March 19, 1947 the daughter of Rogelio and Eloisa (Gonzales) Herrera. She was a longtime dedicated housekeeper at Mercy Hospital for 40years. She is survived by 5 children; Roy Ybarra, Melissa (Poncho) Tejeda, Susan (Jesse) Pena , Selena(Tyson) Carter all of Aurora, and Johnny Govia of Pekin, IL, 19 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Janie of San Benito, Texas, brothers; Cipriano (Mike) Herrera of Weslaco, TX, Rogelio Herrera of Harlingen, TX and Reynaldo Herrera of Los Fresnos, TX and her life mate Lio Gomez Aurora, IL She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Pedro Ybarra, Jr. and nephew Joey Huerta. Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral Service will be on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Dieterle Memorial Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Aurora, IL.
