Gwen Jungels

Gwen L.  Jungels, 82, of Montgomery, IL passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Mercy Center Hospital in Aurora.  She was born February 11, 1936 in Oswego, IL, the daughter of Elmer and Vivian (Anderson) Vickery. She worked as a telephone operator for Illinois Bell and at Rush Copley Hospital as a telephone operator with combined years of service of over 40 years.  Gwen enjoyed knitting, crocheting, taking long drives but most of all spending time with family. She is survived by her children, William “Wes” (Sherry) Stewart of Yorkville, IL, Kathy (Gene) Hufford of FL, daughter, Karole Jungels of Montgomery, son Ken (Kimberly) Frank of Fox Lake, IL; 10 grandchildren, Dianna (Carl) Koering, Mandi (Matt) Shaw, Richelle (Charlie) Colon, Jeremy (Siara) Piscoran, Patricia (Tim) Smith and Adrienne Kelley, Desiree, Trenton, Tyler and Dylan. 15 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Kay (the late Pat) Woulfe, Gail (Glen) Renner and Donna (Paul) Benson;  many nieces and nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents and  her husband of 22 years, Kenneth.
