Harold Green

Harold Green, 95, of Montgomery passed away peacefully on February 27, 2018. He was born on July 13, 1922 in Aurora, IL the son of Ellis and Charlotte Clinkenbeard. Harold proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during WWII. He owned and operated H. Green concrete for many years and worked until he was 80. He and his wife also loved to travel.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Roberta; daughter, Kathy (Mark) Green-Tader; granddaughter Mariel Tader; sisters, Aline Flammang and Charlotte Hampson as well as many nieces and nephews.  

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings Earl, Carl, Catherine and Bernice.

Family will be receiving guests on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, IL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his honor to the veterans charity of your choice.
