Helen Volak

Helen M. (Lubic) Volak, age 73 years of Bullhead City, AZ formerly of Montgomery, IL passed away peacefully on Friday 12/22/2017 at Batavia Nursing Home in Batavia, IL. She was born July 20, 1944 in Elmhurst, IL, the daughter of the late George and Marion Lubic.  Helen enjoyed her family the most here's an excerpt from her facebook: “There is only one thing in this world that is so important to me and that is my family.” She enjoyed her crochet, knitting and puzzles and games.  She loved Christmas and holidays as that's when all her children were in one place and she could just enjoy them. She worked for Armour Dial in Montgomery, IL as property service manager and later enjoyed retirement in Fort Mohave, AZ which was her goal to retire in a warm state. Helen is survived by her seven children, Denise (Audie) Wheeler,  Vicki Vargas , Traci (Mark) Vargas , Fred (Sandy) Vargas of Aurora, IL; Melissa Palfalvi , Ted Vargas , and Brian (Nicole) Volak  and her Nineteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Marian Peterson, Barbara (Jim) Glasgo, her brother Robert aka Butch Lubic . Many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Ron C. Volak , her daughter Kimberly Vargas , her great granddaughter Jayla Parsons, her parents; two sisters, Dorothy Wooley, and Rose DuMont, two brothers, George M. Lubic Jr., and Chuck Lubic.  A celebration of life memorial will be held at Dieterle Memorial 1120 S. Broadway Rd.
