Herminia Rodriguez

Herminia Rodriguez, 92, of Montgomery, IL, passed away on July 14, 2022. She was born April 5, 1930 the daughter of Lidia and Lucio Navar. Herminia was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker. A friend to many. We lost our father 11 years ago but by the grace of god we had our mother for these years. Mother loved life and had the hardest time leaving us.

Herminia is survived by her daughters, Elva (Rhett) Smith, Velia (Lorenzo) Herrera, Maria (Dennis) Newman, Gloria (Mark) Oldin; grandchildren, Roberto Herrera, Karina Acosta, Alma Guzman, Gabriel Sanchez, Alexander Newman, Danielle Moore, Jacklyn Oldin, Kristen Oldin; great-grandchildren, Caroline, Cristian, Kamila, Diego, Isla Mia, Nora, Hernan, Joaquin, Fabian, Gema, Felix, Sofia, Logan Alexander; and sister, Gudelia.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roberto Rodriguez; parents, Lidia and Lucio Navar; grandson, Alexander J. Newman; and siblings, Giodardo, Hortencia, Arturo, Armando, and M.Angeita.

Family will be receiving guests on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S Broadway Ave, Montgomery, IL 60538. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Saint Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543. Interment at Riverside Cemetery.
