Howard L. Aldrich, 90, of Montgomery, passed away, Thursday July 4, 2019. He was born January 3, 1929, in Illinois, son of Nelson and Theresa Aldrich. He was a machinist for Caterpillar Manufacturing for over 20 years. Howard proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict; while being stationed in Germany, he obtained the rank of Sgt. and worked as a mechanic. He enjoyed cars, building things, but most of all spending time with family and friends. Howard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary, 2 sons, Steven (Wendy) and David, 2 granddaughters, Carolyn Aldrich-LeRette (Patrick), Miranda Aldrich and 4 great grandchildren, Michael, Isabelle, Abigail and Lily, 1 brother, Richard (Luna) and 1 step sister, Mary Lou and 1 nephew, Ed (Marge) Aldrich .Many nieces,nephews and other relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, LeRoy, Melvin, Larry, Elwood and 1 sister, Lucille.
