Jacqueline "Jackie" C. Perkins

Jacqueline C. Perkins, 82, formerly of Lady Lake, Florida and Oswego, IL, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2021 in Naperville, IL. She was born April 4, 1939 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of Harlan and Carolyn Mundsinger.

Jackie worked in a variety of departments at Caterpillar in her early work life and later went on to work as a receptionist at Dreyer for 17 years, from which she retired. She loved to read, collect books and was an accomplished piano player. She found her love for piano after being trained to play by her Aunt Laura. She was even an accompanist for Caterpillar. Jackie and her husband, James, celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary at one of their annual trips to Las Vegas.

She is survived by her three children, Dawn (Bruce) Zentmyer of Oswego, David Perkins of Montgomery, and Diane Perkins of Oswego. Six grandchildren, Lukas and Jakob Zentmyer, and Jayson Miller and Amber Michelson. Sister, Shelby (Jack) Stifle. Sister-in-laws, Rosella Assell and Maxine (Warren) Geihm, and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James, and parents, Harlan and Carolyn Mundsinger.

Family will be receiving guests on Saturday, June 19, 2021 from 9:30 AM until time of service at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 19, 2021 also at Dieterle Memorial Home. Inurnment at a future date.
