James Fredricksen

James C. Fredricksen, 60, of Aurora, passed away Saturday October 13, 2018 in Harvey, IL.  He was born January 17, 1958, in Landstuhl,Germany, son of the late Louis and Herta (Barnreuther) Fredricksen.  Jim was a member of Rockford electrical union local 364, and was an electrician for over 25 years, most recently working at Northern Illinois University for the last 10 Years.  His biggest passion was playing the bass guitar, having a collection of many guitars and amplifiers . He is survived by his mother, Herta, 2 daughters, Amber and Heidi Lilly, and 2 sons, Jeremy (Angie) and Alex.  Many nieces, nephews and other relatives.  He is preceded in death by his father Louis, and 2 brothers, Gerald (Lanie) and William. Family will be receiving guests Tuesday October 16, 2018 from 5:00 pm until Time of service at 7:00 pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S.
