James F. "Foster" Patterson

James Foster Patterson, 88, of Aurora, went to be with The Lord Monday April 18, 2022. He was Born April 29, 1933 in Keenes, IL, son of Clyde and Mildred (Bozarth) Patterson. Jim proudly served in The United States Army during The Korean War. He was employed as a foreman at Burgess Norton Manufacturing for over 40 years. Jim enjoyed Fishing, arrowhead hunting, feeding the squirrels but most of all spending time with family and friends. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Lyndall; 3 sons, Roger (Valerie), Gary, Mike Moore; 2 daughters, Rhonda Proctor, Michelle (Jim) Null. 2 brothers Larry and Dean (Linda) and a sister Ethel Fern Ketzner. 14 grandchildren, 30 great – grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, a son Steven (Elizabeth), a brother Henry “Buck", Grandson Jeremiah Patterson and a granddaughter Andrea Lynn Baker. Family will be receiving guests Thursday April 21, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm at River of Life Church 1620 N. Randall Rd in Aurora. Funeral services will be Friday April 22, 2022, 11am at River of Life Church. Interment will be at River Hills Memorial Park.
