Jeffery "Poz" Balog

Jeffery J. Balog "Poz", 57, of Aurora, passed away September 9, 2017. He was born April 28, 1960, the son of Steve and Marlene (Nichols) Balog.  He was a wood carpenter for over 20  years, and then a concrete carpenter for over 15 years.  He had a great passion for freshwater fishing, especially for walleye and catfish.  He is survived by his mother Marlene; sons, Michael and Kyle; brothers, Gregory (Chris) and Rick (Lorrie); longtime companion, Stacy Oros and many nieces, nephews and dear relatives.  Jeff is preceded in death by his father Steve.  Family will be receiving guests on Saturday September 16, 2017 from 2:00 pm until time of service at 6:00 pm at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S.
