Joan M. Seifrid

Joan M. Seifrid, nee Sherman, was born August 25, 1941 in Evergreen Park, IL died on March 8th, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Marie Sherman, her husband, Gene Seifrid, and her son, David Hickey. She will be missed by her brother, Bud (Marilyn) Sherman; sister, Nancy (Bryan) Aschauer; sister-in-law Caryl Johnson; nephew, Bill (Hilary) Sherman; step-daughter, Sue (Donald) Higgins; and daughter, Sue Hickey. Joan was a grandmother and great-grandmother.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org would be appreciated.

Family will be receiving guests from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 701 S Eola Rd, Aurora, IL 60504. A service will follow at 11:00 AM, also at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Interment at Warrenville Cemetery.
