Joanne Alvarez

Joanne Alvarez, 27, of Oswego, IL passed away on August 30, 2020. She was born on August 31, 1992 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Jaime and Elsa (Salgado) Alvarez. Joanne was a bright and vibrant spirit. She was the life of the party and enjoyed life to its fullest. She was a jokester, very outgoing and social, loved dancing and music and was always up for a good time. Even at 27, she was still a kid at heart and her kindred spirit will be sorely missed by all.

She is survived by her mother, Elsa (Michael Banuelos) Salgado; siblings, Jaime C. Alvarez, Jr., Angelica Alvarez, Michael Banuelos, Jr., Christina N. Banuelos and Adriana I. Banuelos; nephew, Jaime D. Alvarez, grandmothers, Germana Garcia and Irene Banuelos and grandfather, Arnoldo Alvarez. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends survive her. She is preceded in death by her father Jaime Alvarez, grandmother, Elidia Alvarez, grandfather, Estanislado Salgado and aunt, Juana Sigala.

Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, September 3, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. A private graveside will be held at Riverside Cemetery. Due to current restrictions, a limited amount of guests will be allowed in to the chapel.
