John Albert Neis

John Albert Neis, 60, of Aurora, Illinois passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at his home.  He was born January 20, 1961 in Framingham, Massachusetts, the son of Donald and Mary (Seavolt) Neis.   John was a 1979 graduate of Naperville North High. He had a brief tenure in the United States Air Force. John lived in Las Vegas for a number of years, owning and operating his own landscaping business.  In the mid 1990’s John moved back to Illinois to be near his mother and his family.  He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed working on cars and fixing things.  He loved his family and had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews.

John is survived by his sister, Mary E. (Monte) Spiedel of Minnesota; three brothers, Michael (Marie) Neis of Warrenville, Robert (Victoria) Neis of Aurora, and Kevin (Jean) Neis of Joliet; sister-in-law, Mary M. Neis of Grayslake and many nieces and nephews: Donald III, Janet, Megan, Margaret, Kathleen, Kristen, Regina, Bryan, Aidan, Brendan, Cameron, Emily, Elizabeth and Patrick.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Donald, Jr and his life partner, Deborah Dheel.

Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until the time of Service at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave., Montgomery, IL.  Private inurnment will take place at Saints Peter and Paul Cemetery in Naperville. IL.
