Josh R. Alatorre

Joshua R. Alatorre, 21, passed away March 28, 2021 at Luries Children’s Hospital. He was born Aug 31, 1999 in Aurora, son of Jose Alatorre and Evangelina Ortega. Joshua was in his senior year at the University of Wisconsin, Madison studying economics and sociology. He loved to travel and cook and he loved animals. Joshua also enjoyed sports including wrestling, tennis, football, basketball. Joshua was an avid swimmer and weight lifter as well. He is survived by his parents, 2 brothers, Juan and Cristian, his grandparents Rafael (Alba) Alatorre, a grandmother Maria Alvarez and 2 nieces, Isabella and Leslie. Many other relatives. Joshua is preceded in death by his grandfather, Enrique. A celebration of life for Josh will take place April 10th, visitation from 12pm until time of service at 3 pm at The Salvation Army of Aurora, 550 Redwood Dr. Aurora.
