Joyce Moore

Joyce Moore, 84, of Bristol, passed away at her home Tuesday October 30, 2018. She was born May 7,1934 in Salisbury, Missouri, daughter of Robert and Beatrice (Keithley) Peveler.  Joyce was homemaker and a United States Postal Carrier for 15 years.  She enjoyed traveling, painting, photography, canning, gardening, biking, skiing, ice skating, hiking but most of all spending time with family and friends.  Joyce was involved in school, church, city and state politics.  She believed that actions speak louder than words. When her children moved to the 4 corners of the country, she traveled to make sure she they knew she was a part of their lives and also shared many years making close friends in Arizona. Nothing was more important to her than family, she had a positive effect on everyone that she came in contact with, and she will be truly missed.  Joyce is survived by 4 daughters; Lynda Moore, Jeannie Russell (Mike Dobbs), Janet (Jeff) Simonson, and Beth Moore. 8 grand children, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.   She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 40 years, Thomas, a brother Robert (Zoe) and a grandson Caleb.
