Juan Ortiz

Juan Ortiz, 84, of Aurora, IL passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Rush Copley Memorial Hospital in Aurora, IL.  He was born August 11, 1936 in Cd Acuna Coahuila, Mexico, the son of Concepcion  and Gregoria (Lopez) Ortiz.  Juan was married to America Salas for 60 years.   He retired from Aurora Housing Authority after 26 years.    Juan enjoyed spending his past time fishing, loved spending time with his family and friends and traveling to Mexico.   

Juan is survived by his wife, America; 5 children, Hector (Noelia) Ortiz of Aurora, Homero Ortiz of Aurora, Juan Jaime Ortiz of Mexico, Brenda Ortiz of Aurora, Roberto (Laura) Ortiz of Aurora; 14 grandchildren, Blanca, Jose Julio, Brenda, Hector (Andrea) Armando, Chelsea, Homero Jr., Mason, Juan Jaime Jr., Jacob, Alejandro, Roberto Jr and Izabel; 14 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Concepcion, Maria, Lucia and Elodia, 1 brother, Ignacio and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sons, Jose Maria and Jose Concepcion, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
