Juana G Martinez

Juana G. Martinez, 72, of Aurora passed away peacefully on March 18, 2021. She was born in Mexico on October 14, 1948 the daughter of Lino and Josefina (Gaytan) Gonzalez. Juana lived life to the fullest, she enjoyed cooking, music and loved nothing more than time spent with family.

She is survived by her children; Araceli (Jesus) Delgado, Patty Martinez, Juan Manuel Martinez, Claudia J. (Erik) Gonzalez, Paquita (Ignacio) Ornelas; grandchildren, Jesse and Mireya Delgado, Vianae (Eric Castro) Cerda, Brial (Eric) Perez, Mercedes (Jeff) Saunders, Alexyia and Jiovanni Martinez, Christian and Bella Gonzalez, and Arianna Ornelas and Priscilla Martinez; great-grandchildren Gavin, Noah, Elias, Eric, Emiliano, and Santino; siblings, Manuel Gonzalez, Teresa (Ruben)De Los Reyes. She is also survived by sister-in-law Lola Gonzalez and many nieces, nephews and countless friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Manuel Martinez, daughter Joanna “Jo Jo” Martinez and siblings Lino Gonzalez and Socorro Estrada.

Family will be receiving guests on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral Mass will be on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Nicholas Catholic Church 308 High Street, Aurora, IL 60505.  Interment will follow at Spring Lake Cemetery, Aurora, IL.

Due to current restrictions, a limited number of guests will be allowed in the chapel at a time. Facemasks and social distancing are required.
