Judy M. DeCesare, 70, of Montgomery, IL passed away unexpectedly on April 26, 2022. She was born on September 22, 1951 in Wheeling, IL the daughter of John and Mary (Murphy) Pause. Judy worked in the meat department at Dominick’s for many years, she was a Blackjack dealer at Hollywood Casino and later in life owned and operated Curves in Oswego. Throughout each of these professions Judy touched the lives of many and made friends wherever she went. She enjoyed scrapbooking and photography and loved to sew. Above all things Judy was devoted to her family and loved the holidays. She was a beloved wife, mom, sister, grandma and great-grandma. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Richard DeCesare; children, Janelle Miller, Ryan (Marci) Miller, Chad (Iris) Miller and Danny DeCesare; grandchildren, Theresa Garza, Janessa (Jordan) Noel, Viangelid Rivera, and Nevaeh and Wotan Miller; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Aria, Mia, Maverick, Myles and Zayn. She is also survived by her mother and father in law Marie and Lawrence DeCesare, former son-in-law Che Garza, beloved puppy Benny, as well as many other in-laws, nieces, nephews and countless friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Michelle Miller and brother, John (Keith) Pause.

Family will be receiving guests on Monday, May 2, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 430 E. Downer Place, Aurora, IL. Burial will follow at Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst, IL. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her honor to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
