Kathleen Guddendorf

Kathleen M. Guddendorf, 85, of Aurora, IL passed away on December 24, 2018. She was born on May 28, 1933 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Nicholas and Florence (Moyer) Guddendorf. She had a passion for gardening and could bring just about anything back to life. She loved to paint China and was an amazing cook. For many years she was a program director at WMRO Radio Station and also worked at Western Union. She then went on to own and operate D and J Café in Sugar Grove and later worked at Macy’s.

She is survived by her brother Roger (the late Karen) Guddendorf, sister, Nancy (William) Murphy and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Nick and Florence, siblings, Margaret Phillips and James Guddendorf and niece, Dawn Marie DeLong.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Bethany of Fox Valley, 2200 Ridge Ave, Aurora, IL 60504. Interment will be private.
