Kenneth Fiedler of Oswego, Il passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at the age of 71. He was born August 27th, 1946 to Earl and Ruth Fiedler of Richmond, Illinois where he was raised. He graduated high school from Richmond High. Shortly after graduating he decided to join the military where he devoted his life to serving his state and his country in the Illinois National Guard and U.S. Army. He retired honorably after 35 years of faithful service. During his service he attended Elmhurst College and graduated with a Bachelors in Business. In his off time, he enjoyed travelling, including trips to Nags Head, Door County, and Lake Geneva. He was a Bears and Cubs fan and enjoyed watching games with his family.
He is survived by his Daughters, Rhea (Matt) Saffar of Northbrook, IL and Jennifer (Ford) Perry of Oswego, IL One son, Robert Fiedler of Oswego, two brothers, Larry (Sandy) Fiedler of Leesburg Va. and Steven (Pam) Fiedler of Richmond, IL. And 5 wonderful grandchildren, Sam and Abigail Saffar of Northbrook, IL and Rebecca, Elizabeth and Benjamin Perry of Oswego, IL.
He was preceded in death by his wife Debra, parents Earl Fiedler and Ruth (Heise) and his sister Sandra.

Visitation will take place at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538 on Thursday, April 26th 2018. From 2:00 – 6:00 PM. The funeral will be a private affair with immediate family at a later date.
