Kenneth Peck

Kenneth "Big Red" Peck, 63, of Aurora, IL passed away of natural causes on Saturday, May 27, 2023. Ken was born on October 28, 1959 in Aurora. He was the fifth of thirteen children born to Stanley and Barbara (Mosley) Peck of Montgomery, IL. Ken was a devoted and loving father, talented machinist and armature tinkerer. He enjoyed rebuilding and riding vintage Harley Davidson motorcycles. He most enjoyed creating unique mechanical contraptions to amuse his grandchildren. 

Ken leaves behind three much loved children. Jennifer Peck, Stephanie (Ubaldo Jr.) Benavidez, and Aaron Peck as well as numerous cherished grandchildren. Although they divorced, Ken maintained a lifelong friendship with the mother of his children, Melissa Senkowsky. Ken was preceded in death by his sisters Karen and Nan. He is survived by his parents, Stan and Barbara, siblings, Lynn, David, Mary, Tom, Andy, Joann, Dan, Ed, Jerry, John and hundreds of nieces, nephews and cousins. 

The family will be receiving guests on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave, Montgomery, IL. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life reception at the Montgomery VFW, 121 N. River St, Montgomery, IL on Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
