Kenneth G Shaffer

Kenneth G. Shaffer, 70, of Montgomery, IL, formerly of Garden Grove, CA passed away peacefully on October 22, 2018. He was born on December 16, 1947 in Youngstown, OH, the son of Cecil and Lillian (Milligan) Shaffer. He graduated from Chaney High School in Youngstown, OH and then went on to receive his Bachelor’s Degree from Youngstown State University. He was employed with Chevron Corporation, formerly known as Golf Research and Development and retired after many years of dedicated service. Ken was known for his servant’s heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He is survived by his sister, Nancy (Tony) Abbattista, sister-in-law Jeanne Shaffer and many other relatives and dear friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Dennis Shaffer.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Montgomery, IL.
