Kevin Beamish, 60, of Weaverville, NC and formerly of Aurora, IL passed away on June 23, 2022. He was born on November 1, 1961 in Dade County, Florida the son of Richard and Josephine (Phelps) Beamish. Kevin was full of life, he loved telling a good story, was proud of his Irish roots and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He was known for always lending a helping hand. On St. Patrick’s Day he could be found in the kitchen with Lisa making corned beef for neighbors and friends alike. He was known for his sub sandwich and bloody Mary bar that could cure any hangover. Above all things in life, he loved time spent with family and friends. He touched the lives of all who knew him.
He is survived by his children; Justin (Sarah) Bower, Juliana (Harry) Rosenberg, Sarah Jones, Erin (Bryan) Joseph, and Beth (Nicholas) Hanchar; siblings, Richard (Julia) Beamish, Patricia Beamish, Jack (Carly) Beamish, Chris (Ruth) Beamish, Cammie (Omar) Farooq and Mike (Robin) Beamish; grandchildren, Cole and Alyssa Rosenberg, Lucy and Niko Tena, Julian and Jaeda Joseph- Harden, and Bryce Bower. He is preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife Lisa.
Family will be receiving guests on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Inurnment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
