Kristen Chipollini

Kristen Chipollini, 43, of Aurora passed away peacefully on October 6, 2018 from complications from a lifetime battle with Juvenile Diabetes. She was born on October 31, 1974 in Wynnewood, PA the daughter of Joseph Chipollini and Michelle Mensinger. She attended Pinkerton Academy in Derry, NH.  Kristen graduated Cum Laude from North Central College, Naperville and studied for her Master’s Degree in Psychology at Benedictine University, Lisle, IL.   Kristen was an avid reader and later needed to listen to books on tape. She was a cat lover who enjoyed the New Jersey seashore and her home. Kristen resided in Aurora, IL for the past 22 years and is survived by her devoted husband, William Trautz; stepchildren, Ryan, Robbyn and Alexandria; father,  Joseph (Jayne) Chipollini, of Hernando, FL; Michelle (William) Mensinger of Derry, NH; brothers, William, Brian, and Daniel Mensinger, paternal grandmother; Sabina Chipollini; mother-in-law, Patricia Trautz and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and countless dedicated and loving friends. Kristen fought the fight and made an impact on others by example.  Her will to live and thrive while facing down Juvenile Diabetes for forty years will have a lasting impact on many.  Kristen demonstrated love and compassion to all who knew her and she will be dearly missed. Family will be receiving guests on Saturday, November 10th from 10:00 AM until the time of celebration at 12:00 Noon at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538.
