Laura Amelia Villegas

Laura A. Villegas, 56, of Aurora, passed away at her home Saturday April 10, 2021. She was born in Mexico on July 3,1964, daughter of Ramon and Gaudilia (Gonzalez) Villegas. Laura received her Bachelor’s degree from Illinois State University. She was a medical sales rep for Convatec. Laura enjoyed shopping, exercise, going to auctions, was a wine connoisseur but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her mom Gaudilia, 1 brother Ramon (Ines), 3 sisters; Blanca (Dennis) Jessen, Nora (Nicolas) Rodriguez, and Alma Villegas. Loving Aunt of Vanessa, Maricella, Jessie, Amanda, Alex, Nicolas, Erick, Jonathan, Jacob, Jack, Emma and Logan. Laura is preceded in death by her grandparents Jesus and Juana Gonzalez and grandmother Juana Villegas. Family will be receiving guests Thursday April 15th, 2021 from 3pm until time of service at 7:30pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway in Montgomery. Burial will be private.  Due to covid  restrictions, we ask that everyone to be wearing a mask when entering the funeral home, practice social distancing and only spend a few minutes with the family and then exiting the funeral home in a timely manner.
