Leslie W. Gyuricza, 75, of Oswego, IL passed away on June 17, 2018. He was born in Chicago, IL on April 27, 1943 the son of Leslo and Zita (Brunod) Gyuricza. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army. Les was a Chemical Analyst for Amoco Research Center retiring in 2000 after 31 years of dedicated service. He continued his career as an Analytical Tech at Abbott Laboratories and retired after 8 years. He had an insatiable quest for knowledge and was always eager to learn. He loved fishing, gardening, cooking, bird watching (and intimidating squirrels). His role as loving husband, father and grandfather will always be what he is remembered most for.
He is survived by his wife Julie (Bolin) of 46 years, sons; Michael (Stacy) Gyuricza and Stephen Gyuricza; grandchildren, Jacob and Haley Gyuricza and cousin, Sylvia Favre. He is preceded in death by his parents and son Gregory Gyuricza.
Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 4:00 PM until the time of service at 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Interment will be private.
