Lester Gebauer Jr.

Lester C. Gebauer, Jr., 86, of Aurora, IL passed away surrounded by the love of his family at Bright Oaks of Aurora, IL.  He was born March 27, 1931 in Pope County, IL, the son of Lester C. and Freida (Bates) Gebauer.   He married Dena Clauser on August 29,1953 in Indiana. He was employed at Nabisco for over 22 years in the maintenance department.  He enjoyed gardening and playing the guitar and had a great love for spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Dena, his children, Tom (Debra) Thomas, of Geneva, Janette (Tom Juline) Galey of Plano, Lester D (Mary Ann) Gebauer of Oswego, Charles (Cindy) Gebauer of Sugar Grove and Gary (Janice) Gebauer of Sheridan; 15 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Carolyn (Hans) Martens and A. Josephine Bonnell and 2 brothers, Glenn (Phyllis) Gebauer and Carl Gebauer. Lester was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gerald Bonnell. Family will be receiving guests Monday November 13, 2017 from 10:00 am until time of service at Noon, at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery, IL 60538.
