Linda M. Gates

Linda Gates, 81, of Montgomery, IL born on April 21, 1939, peacefully left to be with the Lord on December 25th at Mercy Center Hospital.  She served in numerous organizations; Boulder Hill Civic Association, Illinois State and National PTA, Illinois State Health Board, Girl Scouts and Cookie Sales Chairman. She worked many years in Health and Medical fields.

She is survived by her husband Jack Gates of 63 years, one brother James Wolf, sister June (Wolf) Rebblo and sister Barbara (Wolf) Wood.

She is also survived by her son Scott (Pamela) Gates, daughter Jill Gates Dillon, son-in-law Kelly Dillon, grandchildren Samantha (Alex) Klang, Joshua Dillon, Kayla (Scott) Horne, Courtney (the late Taylor) Zelden, great grandchildren Riley Johnson, Hollis Klang and Carson Horne.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Irwin & Edna Wolf, parents Merrell and Shirley (Lippold) Wolf and maternal mother Ruth (Bauman) Wolf.

Due to current restrictions, a private service was held with Dieterle Memorial Home and Lincoln Memorial Park.
