Linda Marie (Magathan) Fowler passed away on January 7th, 2022 from complications of rheumatoid arthritis and pneumonia. She was 70 years old. Linda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Sam and Pearl Cowan; parents, Meta Louise Lantz and Opie McBroom; aunt, Wava Thompson; uncles, Robert and Richard Cowan and little brother Roger Dale.
She is survived by Ernest Fowler, her husband of almost 50 years; daughter, Pamela (Joseph) Hoalt; son, Michael (Sarah) Fowler; grandchildren, Lindsay and Logan Hoalt, David (Gisell) Byrd, Daniel Byrd, and Chloe Fowler; great-grandchildren, Hayden (David) Byrd, Saul (Lindsay) Maldonado; sisters, Janis (Jim) Cowell, Melanie (Jeff) Miller, Amanda (Justin) Brooks, and aunt, Marilyn Douglas. She was loved by all of her extended family and friends.
Linda was a hard worker and over the course of her career, she worked at Lyon Metal and Staker Chiropractor. Upon her retirement, she became a stay-at-home grandma to Chloe, she also became an Avon Representative, she enjoyed both immensely. Linda was a lifelong Beatles fan, and was lucky enough to see The Beatles in concert in 1964, at the age of 13, in Kansas City. She was all about family, and loved hosting family reunions, holidays, and birthday parties. Besides celebrating with family, Linda loved to go to craft shows, work on crossword puzzles, and decorate for every holiday, especially Christmas. As soon as Halloween was over, the Christmas decorations were put up.
