Linnie G. Williams

Linnie Gillihan Williams passed away peacefully on June 24, 2021 in Cleveland, Georgia. She was born May 23, 1929 in Fisk, Missouri .  Later she moved to Aurora, Illinois where in time she met and married her husband of 45 years Raymond “Buster” Williams and together they raised their three children, Lennie, Helen”Suzie” Betz, and Onie Stankus. She retired early after 28 years at Western Electric to care for her husband.

She is survived by her son, Lennie (Wendy) Williams of Florida; son-in-law, Ron Betz of Illinois; daughter, Onie Stankus of Florida; six grandkids; 11 great grandkids; and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Williams; daughter, Helen” Suzie” Betz; son-in-law, Robert Stankus; granddaughter, Jennifer Stankus; and great-grandson, Jacob Walton.

A graveside service will take place 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Aurora, IL.
