Loreta Bucio

Loreta Bucio, 62, of Aurora, IL gained her wings peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Monday, June 14, 2021 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. She was born on December 10,1958 in Guanaceví, Durango, Mexico to Atilano and Marcelina Ramos. Loreta lived most of her life in Aurora and was the eldest of 10 siblings. At a young age, she had been a very hard worker with a lot of dedication. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, and long nature walks. The sounds of birds chirping and singing brought tranquility to her. Loreta was united in marriage on September 19,1990 to Jesus Bucio Sr. They were together for 30 years raising four children. She was an amazing mother that would go above and beyond for her kids. Extremely understanding, compassionate and loving. Loreta was such an inspiration to her children. She taught them, no matter what is thrown at you in life, to never give up. But Grandma was the title she was most proud of. She loved spending the majority of her time with her grandchildren. Going through memory lane and sharing her life as a child to her grandchildren was something they forever cherished. Loreta had a huge heart with a gold spirit that was unnoticed. She touched many hearts and was loved by many. She loved making people smile and had a good sense of humor. She was happier providing for others than she was to herself. She is survived by her loved husband Jesus Bucio Sr.; children Angelica Ramos, Lorena E. Bucio, Selene Bucio (Ezequiel Gutierrez), Jesus Bucio Jr.; step-daughter, Bernise Bucio; grandchildren Monica Y. Vergara, Nathan J. Vergara, Delani A. Bucio, Briseis B. Berrios, Turbo Gutierrez; Yaritza M. Moreno, Aiden M. Bucio; her mother Marcelina Salgado Ramos; her siblings Sofia Josupait, Fernando Ramos, Paulina Ramos, Saul Ramos, Alfredo Ramos, Araceli Ramos (Juan Arebalo) as well as many nieces and nephews. Loreta is preceded in death by her beloved father Atilano Ramos Sr.; her brothers Jose Luis Ramos, Atilano Ramos Jr., Aurelio Ramos; her nephew LCPL Hector Ramos USMC; her sister-in -law Rita Ramos and brother-in-law Edward Josupait. Family will be receiving guests on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Aurora, IL.
