Louis Denny Jr., 78, passed away at home Saturday November 6, 2021. He was born September 25, 1943; son of Louis Sr. and Betty (Stratton) Denny. Lou proudly served in The United States Army during the Vietnam War as a cook and later as a medic. He was also proud to be a member of Alcoholics Anonymous for over 40 years. Lou was a drug and alcohol counselor for many years as well as a member of the VFW. Lou enjoyed Baseball, Basketball, football but most of all he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his daughter, Connie Rodriguez, a sister, Peggy (Duane) Keenan, a granddaughter, Autumn, a niece Dawn (Kevin) Kaine, 4 nephews; Michael, Duane Jr. (Margaret), Dwight (Tena), Dustin Sr. (Rosie) and many other great nieces, nephews and other relatives. Lou is preceded in death by his grandmother; Esther Stratton, his parents and daughter Roxanne. Family will be receiving guests Saturday November 13, 2021 from 11am until time of service at 1pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery.
