Lourdes Cervantes

Lourdes Cervantes, 51, of Aurora, IL passed away surrounded by her family on May 18, 2022. She was born on October 22, 1970 in Mexico, the daughter of Francisco and Maria Dolores (Alfaro) Gudiño.

Lourdes was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who spent her life devoted to her family. She had a sense of humor and was the beloved Tia to her many nieces and nephews. She had a nickname for everyone and her kindred spirit will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Ignacio Cervantes; children, Ignacio (Claudia) Cervantes, Jr., and Caritina Cervantes; beloved granddaughter, Melanie Cervantes and mother Maria Dolores. She is also survived by many siblings, in laws and dear relatives.

She is preceded in death by her father Francisco Gudiño.

Family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church 722 High Street, Aurora, IL.

Burial will follow at Marywood Cemetery, Aurora, IL.
