Luis Ortiz

 Luis D. Ortiz, age 77 of Aurora passed away on May 17, 2018 at home. Luis was born on March 22, 1941 in Yabucoa, PR to Delores Ortiz and Ana Velazquez.  Luis was a cherished and loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Luis is survived by his loving wife, Lorilee (nee Dungey) and children, Annette Ortiz, Maria Rodriguez( Mike Anderko), Sheila ( Olegario) Rodriguez, Luis Ortiz, Michael ( Sandra)Ortiz, Barnaby Ortiz and AnthonyOrtiz, his Mother, sisters, Delia, Carmen Iris,Nery Yolanda, Olga, Maria, Carmen Gloria, Sonia, Lydia, Maribel, Margarita, brothers, Wilfredo, Angel Luis, Hector and Carlos.  Nineteen grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Luis was employed for over 30 years at Aurora Pump (Pentair) as a machinist, retiring in 2001. He was a Handyman flipping many homes over the years in the Aurora area. He is preceded in death by his father and his beloved German Shepherd Wilson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Dieterele Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery,IL .  Interment – private. A funeral mass will take place in Yabucoa, PR at a later date.
