Luis C. Trevino, 73, of Aurora, IL passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora. He was born on June 4,1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Jose, Sr. and Louisa Trevino.Luis retired from Dial Corporation in Montgomery,IL. He touched the lives of many people throughout his lifetime and was very well known. In his earlier years he was a Golden Glove Boxer and loved to play baseball. Luis brightened the room with his smile, he would play the guitar any chance he got, a true musician for the Lord. He loved to share the word of the Lord, play pool, tell jokes and was always willing to help others. He was a loving husband,father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Luis will forever live in the hearts of those lives he has touched. Luis is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sanjuana “Janie” of Aurora; five children, Luis Jr. of Aurora, Ismael Trevino of Corpus Christi,Tx, Yvonne(Bryan) Holler of Corpus Christi, TX, Adan (Emilia) Trevino of DeKalb,IL, Elva Adelina (Frank) Trevino-Cantu of Montgomery,IL; 12 grandchildren;1 great grandson; Five brothers, Jose(Adalia) Trevino, Rogelio(Elva) Trevino, Ramiro(Dora), Abel(Diane) Trevino, Robert (Aurora) Trevino; two sisters, Cynthia(Victor) Barron and Sylvia Trevino; one sister in-law Patsy Trevino and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Gabriel Christian Hurtado and one brother Joe Raymond “Buge” Trevino Family will be receiving guests on Monday, February 1, 2021 from 10:00a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00p.m. at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery, IL. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Due to current restrictions, facemasks and social distancing is required.
