Maria Herrera

Maria C. Herrera, 69, passed away Wednesday May 15, 2019, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Joliet surrounded by her loving family.  She was born February 23, 1950, in Guadalajara, Mexico, daughter of Jose’ and Guadalupe (Perez) Arana. Maria enjoyed reading, sewing and spending time with family and friends.Left to honor and remember Maria are her four children and partners: Francisco and Alejandra, Leticia and Hector, Oscar and Joanne, Norma and Alvaro. She is also remembered by her 7 grandchildren: Ricardo (Sonia) , Omar ,Andrea Herrera,  Andrea (Nick) Hoecker, Daniel, Jonathan and Gabriella. Maria is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Bernardo.  Family will be receiving guests Friday May 17, 2019 from 9am to 1pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S.
