Maria "Letty" Lechuga

Maria “Letty” Lechuga, 56, passed away on November 21, 2022 after an extended illness. She was born on August 22, 1966 in Aurora, IL the daughter of Elias and Olivia (Luna) Lechuga.

She loved classic rock and time spent in Las Vegas. She held many jobs through the years but being a caregiver and a florist were among her favorite. She also enjoyed time spent with family.

She is survived by her daughter Oliva Benedict; siblings, Lionel (the late Toni) Lechuga, Leonardo (Lupe) Lechuga, Lorenzo (Terri) Lechuga and Laura (Michael) Bryant; nieces and nephews, Lianna, David, Maritza, Chris, Andy, Oscar, Miranda, Leonardo, Elias, Lorena, Araceli, Abigail and Daniel. She is also survived by her Aunt Janie Luna.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother in infancy, Elias Cesar Lechuga.

Family will be receiving guests on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral will be on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Dieterle Memorial Home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Aurora, IL.
