Marietta F. Garman

Marietta F. Garman, 92 of Aurora, passed away Tuesday November 7, 2023 at Arista Healthcare in Naperville. She was born March 31, 1931 in Gifford, IL, daughter of August and Elsie (Mulvaney) Shrader. Marietta was employed as a bookkeeper for the State of Illinois, in the department of corrections for over 30 years. She enjoyed reading, crochet, playing the piano, singing in the Church choir, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Marietta is survived by her son, Mike, 8 grandchildren; Jennifer (the late Carlos), Kerrie, Lisa, Peter, Daniel, Thomas, Adam, Susan and 3 great grandchildren; Nicole, Michela and Ibi and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 26 years, Floyd, a son Patrick, a daughter Kathleen, a grandson Christopher, 3 brothers; Paul, Wayne, Clinton and 2 sisters; Marjorie and Carol. Family will be receiving guests Monday November 13, 2023 from 3pm to 7pm at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway in Montgomery.
