Marion Harke

Marion Harke, 87, of Sugar Grove, passed away Monday April 23, 2018. She was born November 29, 1930, daughter of Otto and Linea (Peterson) Zaar. Marion was a homemaker. She worked part time in the office of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Aurora , She was an Election Judge for many years, and she enjoyed all kinds of card games.  She is survived by 1 son, John (Yvonne), 1 daughter, Diane Harke(Robert Matas), 5 grand cats, Claire, Elliot, Benny, Bella, Chloe and 1 grand turtle, Happy. Marion is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 42 years, Raymond, sister Lisa Ford and her beloved dog Trixie. Family will be receiving guests Wednesday 3:00 PM -7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery. Thursday Marion will be lying in state from 9am until time of service,10:00 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church,  85 S. Constitution, Aurora. Burial will take place at Chapel Hill Gardens West, 17w201 Roosevelt Rd, Oak Brook Terrace.
