Mary Saint Felix

Mary Saint Felix, “Santos” 80, of Aurora, IL passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 26, 2021 at Seasons Hospice in Naperville, IL. She was born on November 1, 1940 in Joliet, IL the daughter of Juan and Candelaria (Pecaso) Pena. Her parents passed at a young age and she was raised by Luz Belman. Mary was a devout catholic and was a longtime member of St. Therese in Aurora, IL.  Mary retired from System Sensors after nearly 30 years of dedicated service. During that time she was a steward and advocate for many through Local Union 134.

Mary had a heart of gold and was the cornerstone of her family. She was not only a wonderful mother and grandmother to her own but she welcomed so many in to her home through the years. She treated each and every child as if they were her own. Her loving spirit and devotion to so many will be the legacy she leaves behind.

She is survived by her children; Franky (Evalinda) Felix, Johnny (Doreen) Felix and Anne Marie (Mike Ahlgren) Felix; grandchildren, Michael and Jasmine Woodward, Navar (Seneca) Fulton, Joshua and Elijah Felix, John-John Felix, Mary (Robert) Romero, Brianna Felix, Kayla McKinney and Michael and James Ahlgren; great-grandchildren, Noah Wise and Trinity Lewis. She is also survived by brothers, Joseph (Mercedes) Belman and Emile (Juanita) Abernathy as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her former husband Frank “Paco” Felix, her parents, loving mother Luz Belman and sister, Angelina (Alberto) Salazar, sister-in-law Irene Belman and brother, Albundio Pena.  

Family will be receiving guests on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 3:00PM to 7:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, August 6, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church 271 N Farnsworth Ave. Aurora, IL. Interment will be private. Due to the current pandemic the family is asking that all non vaccinated guests please wear masks and practice social distancing.
