Mary Faith Lenert

Mary Faith Lenert, 92, of Aurora, passed away Monday October 18, 2021 at Symphony of Orchard Valley in Aurora, Illinois.  She was born in Aurora, Illinois, daughter of Frank and Mildred (Zollers) Guddendorf.  Mary was employed at Waubonsee Community College as a Secretary for 10 years. Mary was involved in the choir programs at St. Peter’s Catholic Church and St. Mary’s Catholic Church for many years. She loved to sing for many occasions but most of all Mary enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mary is survived by 4 daughters; Linda (the late James) Parish, Sheila Kallay, Emilie (Jim) Cherry, Helen Lenert and 1 son, Art Lenert, 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren And 2 nephews. Mary Faith is preceded in death by parents, 2 daughters; Colleen and Mary Agnes; 2 sisters Gretchen (the late Don) Krantz and Vivian; 1 brother Dan (the late Peg) Guddendorf; and 1 great-grandchild Mariah. Family will be receiving guests Thursday October 21, 2021 from 3pm to 7pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery. Funeral Mass will be Friday October 22, 2021 ,11am at St. Mary Catholic Church 420 E. Downer Place in Aurora. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Aurora.
