Michael T. Barry

Michael T. Barry, 68, of Aurora, IL passed away on February 5, 2021. He was born on October 3, 1952 in Aurora, IL the son of Edward and Marilyn (Miller) Barry. He was a lifelong, active parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. In 2013 he retired from the Burlington Northern Railroad after 43 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed golfing among other things but most importantly enjoyed time spent with family. He will be deeply missed by all.

His children; Brianne Barry, Michael Barry and Meghan (fiancé Zach Shaw) Barry; grandchildren, Haley Barry and Jackson Metzler; brother, Robert (Peggy) Barry and sister, Cathy (Brian) Craig, survive him. Many other dear relatives including in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews also survive him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife Colleen and in-laws George and Jovita Burke.

It was his wish that no visitation be held but a Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 12, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church 620 Fifth Street, Aurora, IL.
