Mona Renee Popp

Mona Renee Popp, 93, passed away Monday January 28, 2019 at Rush Copley Hospital.  She was born February 8, 1925, daughter of Elmer and Irene (Stull) Millen. She was a Homemaker and also helped her husband Victor run the family business, Victor Popp Real Estate, but most of all her life was dedicated to spending time with family and friends. Mona Renee is survived by 3 daughters, Vickie (the late James) Weidert, Teddy (the late Robert) Buchner, Valerie, 2 sons, Tony (Rita), and Chris.  8 grandchildren, Brad (Marsha), Ward, Garrett, Chris (Michelle), Ryan (Daina), Alyssa (Joe), Tyler and Lauren. 10 great grandchildren, Nic, Delorian, AV, Justice, Jameson, Sahvannah, Lauren (Austin), Audrey, Jack and Noah. 2 Sisters, Alice (the late Norman) Besch, and Mollie Millen. Many nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 67 years, Victor. Family will be receiving guests Thursday February 7, 2019, from 4 - 8:00 pm at Dieterle Memorial Home 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery. We will be meeting for the funeral Mass Friday February 8, 2019, 10:00 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 620 S. Fifth St., Aurora. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Aurora.
