Monica Aguilar

Monica Aguilar, 40, passed away on October 3, 2021 at Franciscan Health Olympia Fields Hospital. She was born May 23, 1981, the daughter of Maria Victoria Rodriguez and Refugio Aguilar.

Monica loved spending time with her children, her friends, her family and being a "Glamma" to her grandson. She loved to travel, especially to Vegas & Miami. When she wasn't traveling, she enjoyed crafting at home, refinishing old furniture and making it her own. Those who knew Monica knew she had such a bright and energetic personality. She touched so many lives with her humor, generosity, and passion for life. She loved to dress up, look her best, and will always be remembered by her contagious laugh. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

She is survived by her companion Adrian Moore, her son, Desmond Davis, daughters, Adriana Moore, Aja Moore, and Acelyn Moore; grandson, Ashton Davis; parents, Maria Victoria Rodriguez and Refugio Aguilar; sisters, Christina (Gus) Cruz and Lisa Rodriguez; grandmother, Irene Rodriguez; nieces and nephews, Angel, Edward, and Delilah Cruz; and several cousins and extended family.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Angie Aguilar; paternal grandmother, Antonia Meza; maternal grandfather, Leonardo Rodriguez; aunts, Sylvia Rodriguez and Susana Gutierrez; and uncle, Dagoberto Rodriguez.

Family will be receiving guests on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave, Montgomery, IL 60538. There will be a rosary service at 6:00 PM during the visitation time. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 10:00 am also at Dieterle Memorial Home.
