Nancy Hirner

Nancy I. Hirner, 86, of Montgomery, IL passed away on March 7, 2018. She was born on May 5, 1931 the daughter of Oria and Goldie Gough. For many years she was an operator for Illinois Bell, she then stayed home to raise her children and later went on to become a librarian at the Oswego Library. She was a longtime member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego. She loved gardening, reading and was a diehard Chicago Cubs fan. Above all things in life, Nancy was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother and she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children; Linda (the late Jerry) Spray, Anthony (the late Shirley), Christopher (the late Barbara), Paul (Steve), and Vince; 4 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry and daughter Marcia Hirner.

Family will be receiving guests on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway Ave. Montgomery, IL 60538. Funeral mass will be on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, IL.
